If they want to stop the cheating, they simply just dont let private chat while playing the same title, but if one is playing cod6 and another forza then they should still be able to talk, cant see that that would be hard to impliment, better than lose it all together.

I dont understand why i cant talk to my friends online though in party chat if im playing cod and were on the same team, its not loike the enemy can hear us anyway is it.... or can they?

No, its not that, you get killed but are having private room chat with your team, which will keep running when you die, unlike game chat when you can only talk to dead people, so you can then tell you LIVING team members the position you were killed and with what, so cheating.

Cause it's cheating, dead people should'nt be able to talk to the living LOL. Just MS have done a knee jerk reation to the problem, I'm sure it could be solved better than this.

Surely it wouldn't be too difficult to cut off the persons chat channel when they die in game and not re-establish it until, say, 2 minutes after a re-spawn.
Sounds to me like a whinge from the top wa..... sorry .. Rankers and Campers to me

Yea, there down grading, Mags, they do that if you are using the 'In-game' chat, but Private chat obviously does'nt, as you could be chatting to someone on forza about gigantic asses
